Here are some stained glass 4 x 6 photo frames with dog breeds, done for trophies. Below you will see a number of different breeds. Each stained glass dog head is appliqued onto the corner of the frame. There is a backer on each frame with a stand. These are available in any breed, and can be made to sit horizontally as shown, or vertically.
I was commissioned last year to do 7 clocks that would be suitable for a Group One Dog Show Trophy at an all breed dog show. I came up with this design using the Group One ribbon colors, blue and white, using the rosette for the face and the tails of the ribbon for the bottom and stand, with a paw print in the design. These would be available in any of the ribbon color combinations.
This stained glass mantel clock with two Norwich Terriers in two of the main colors they come in was commissioned for the Best of Breed prize for a Norwich Terrier dog show specialty. The club wanted me to use the ribbon colors of Best of Breed, which are purple and gold, for the background design.
These stained glass trophies were done for a Golden Retriever specialty dog show. The club wanted numerous items, all with stained glass Golden Retrievers as the motif. Below is a large stained glass mirror with the Golden Retriever head, with colors that would be pleasant in any home decor.
Here is another Golden Retriever stained glass piece, a vertical mantel clock.
This stained glass frame with a Golden Retriever puppy was for Best Puppy in the show.
The two stained glass items below were also offered for prizes at the Golden Retriever specialty show. First is a large stained glass box with Golden Retriever, and then a votive holder with a Golden Retriever on the front.
Adding another stained glass clock to our repertoire, here is an Australian Shepherd Dog, in a stained glass desk clock style, with sky blue glass accenting the tri-color Aussie.

Yet another new addition to our stained glass dog breeds, an Irish Setter clock. This variation on the clock style seen in earlier designs has the Irish Setter’s head off to the side, creating a longer, lower base, with an Art Deco flavor. Earthy green and amber stained glass was used for the background to set off the mahogany colored glass of the Irish Setter’s head, an homage to its country of origin, Ireland. The base of this stained glass clock measures approximately 12 inches.

This is a Field Spaniel in stained glass. Originally, this piece was made to be a votive candle holder, but other uses can be a catch-all for paper clips, rubber bands, pens, etc. Or, it can be used as a holder for a small potted plant such as an African violet. The base measures 4 inches square, the sides are 3 inches high, and the front is 4 inches high. Any dog breed can be depicted.

We found the perfect glass to depict the noble look of the Kerry Blue Terrier, pairing it with colors that complement the steel gray of the stained glass dog, creating a mirror suitable for any decor, and an ornament that will catch the sun.

For American Spaniel Club’s Flushing Spaniels show in January of 2010, I kept with a theme for the trophies: Flushing Fields. The BOB, BOS, BOW, and First in Class prizes all had the flavor of the hunting Field Spaniel. Here, with the BOB and BOS prizes, a full body Field Spaniel and pheasant, just flushed.
