Custom Painted Portrait on China Plate
This custom painted portrait is of Zack, a cat owned and loved by my brother and his family, years ago. I did the painting as a memorial to him, on a china plate that was picked out by my sister-in-law. I keyed the colors of the fabric of the chair arm that Zack is leaning on to the colors in the plate’s pattern.
In the private collection of Peter and Ann Mathewson.

Custom Pet Portraits
I have had many years of experience creating custom dog portraits of all dog breeds. My work as a pet artist is displayed in homes across the United States. The pet portraits are done with an underpainting of watercolor and then are rendered with overlapping layers of finely detailed professional colored pencil used to capture the texture of each animal’s coat and markings.
My love of animals can be seen in the detail of my commissioned pet portraits. Custom pet portraits, done from your photos or mine, are available in different sizes and configurations.

Note Cards
Another option for a less expensive dog show trophy, or a way to immortalize a pet and share it with others is to have a design done for a note card. For $100, I will do the design and provide two sets of 8 cards/envelopes. For dog breed clubs, as long as the order is 12 sets of 6 or 8 cards or more, I will waive the $100 fee. Sets of existing designs are 6 cards for $12 (dog club pricing is available).
All designs copyright by Diane Blasius.
