Stained Glass Border Terrier Mirror

This stained glass Border Terrier mirror was a special request commission from the president of the Great Lakes Border Terrier Club. Yes, that’s a rat on the left side of the mirror! The stained glass dogs shown are a grizzle and a blue and tan.

Elephant window for the Ivoryton Library

This custom stained glass window panel was created for the Ivoryton Library as a gift in memory of the Town Historian. It is fitted into a transom-style space above French doors between adjoining rooms in the library.

Elephants are the major theme of the library, as the history of the town includes a piano factory, which used ivory for the piano keys.

The panel measures approximately 10 by 34 inches and depicts two elephants in a greeting, entwining their trunks. The amber and purple glass in the panel were taken from an old window saved from a renovation. The library dates back to 1889, so you can imagine how thrilling it was to be able to reuse the old glass.

On either side of the stained glass panel are 4 pieces of decorative calligraphy by Adrienne Samuelson, of Centerbrook, Connecticut.

Irish Setter Stained Glass Clock

Yet another new addition to our stained glass dog breeds, an Irish Setter clock. This variation on the clock style seen in earlier designs has the Irish Setter’s head off to the side, creating a longer, lower base, with an Art Deco flavor. Earthy green and amber stained glass was used for the background to set off the mahogany colored glass of the Irish Setter’s head, an homage to its country of origin, Ireland. The base of this stained glass clock measures approximately 12 inches.

Kerry Blue Terrier Dog Breed Trophies

Mungo Works introduces our latest additions to our original collection of stained glass dog breed trophies. We found the perfect glass to depict the noble look of the Kerry Blue Terrier, pairing it with colors that complement the steel gray of the stained glass dog, creating a mirror suitable for any decor, and an ornament that will catch the sun.

ASC American Spaniel Club 2010 Trophies

For American Spaniel Club’s Flushing Spaniels show in January of 2010, I kept with a theme for the trophies: Flushing Fields. The BOB, BOS, BOW, and First in Class prizes all had the flavor of the hunting Field Spaniel. Here, with the BOB and BOS prizes, a full body Field Spaniel and pheasant, just flushed.

Stained Glass Paw Print Ornament

This stained glass paw print ornament is about 3 inches across and can be made with any color background. I use the large glass nugget for the large pad, and medium sized nuggets for the toes. It makes a nice little present for dog lovers, or a small prize for dog show trophies.
