This custom painted china canister with an Icelandic Sheepdog was done for a client who was giving it to a friend in Iceland. The canister is roughly 9 1/2 inches tall. The top has three painted chickens on it. The design on the canister covers about half the circumference of the piece, showing the portrait of the dog with a background of Icelandic landscape.
